This Week in Abortion: Good Reads
A collection of good reads, events from the week, and policy insights on reproductive health.
I’ve been saving up a bunch of good reads for you. From Guttmacher’s warning about abortion reporting requirements to new studies on the unequal impacts of abortion bans, there’s a lot to unpack. Plus, Trump may not be attacking abortion access out of the gate, but his administration continues to make moves in that direction.
We will be off next week while I focus on surviving spring break and celebrating no less than three family birthdays. While I’m gone, check out News From The States. Their affiliates have the best and broadest coverage of state legislation anywhere. I swear they are not a sponsor. (But hey, ED Chris Fitzsimon call me!)
Good Reads
Guttmacher is recommending that states revisit their mandated abortion reporting requirements for fear such reporting could be weaponized against individual patients and providers. The recommendation comes as doctors in Indiana challenge the state’s mandated publishing requirements for the handful of abortions performed there.
