What is This Week in Abortion?
This Week in Abortion is a pro-access collection of abortion-related reads and events that started as an exercise to learn and stay engaged in the months after Roe v Wade was overturned. Each week and every other week in the summer readers receive updates on the most important events and legal cases related to abortion access in the United States as well as links to interesting and insightful writing and other content. We hope this newsletter will spark conversations and engagement by individual readers with each other and the wider world.
Who’s Involved?
Hi. I’m Rachel Leven - a local government and democracy policy expert with a career spanning communications, lobbying, municipal government, international policy, and politics. You can see more of my story here. I’m pro-access. However, I look at those on the other side with clear eyes and an open mind. I see the gray, which has helped me drive policy wins throughout my career.
